From the Desk of Principal Vance – Happy Thanksgiving!

Give thanks to the Lord for He is good.  His love endures forever. Psalm 106:1

We are thankful…

for our students
       for our teachers
            for our families
                 for our parish
                      for our community
for food on our table, peace in our neighborhood, a roof over our head.
We are mindful that not everyone has these things right now.

As we gather with loved ones, friends and family, over the Thanksgiving holiday, know how very grateful we are for the St John the Baptist community united for a common purpose: growing the faith of our young people and educating them to live out God’s plan for their lives.  Our world is an uncertain place right now, but God’s promises to us remain steadfast, and for that we give thanks.  Please keep us in your prayers as you celebrate Thanksgiving.  We are so very blessed to be a part of the vibrant St John the Baptist community.

Ms. Vance, Principal of St. John the Baptist Catholic School

Founded in 1888, St. John the Baptist School is a Catholic school in Howard where students grow in relationship with Jesus Christ, pursue high levels of academics, and are surrounded by a community rooted in Christian values. Our staff is committed to developing the whole child by nurturing each child’s academic, emotional, spiritual and behavioral development. By partnering with parents, we aim to individualize student learning in a structured environment where students grow and succeed.

St. John the Baptist School is part of the Green Bay Area Catholic Education (GRACE) School System. It is a private Catholic school serving Preschool and Elementary through 8th grade (PK3-8) with open enrollment. St. John the Baptist provides an individualized education in a faith-based environment. Each child is supported not only academically, but spiritually.
