Updates and Details

Please join us in wishing Ms. Engebretson (PK4), Ms. Nelson (K), and Mrs. Konshak (K) well as they embark on new adventures! Thank you for your time here at SJB!

Ms. Baranczyk and Mrs. Ariens will teach kindergarten next year. Mrs. Ariens is a SJB parent whom many of you may know! Years ago, Mrs. Ariens left teaching to focus on her growing family. She has six years of experience in classrooms and most recently has worked as a PK aide here at SJB, AND she filled both long-term substitute positions in our kindergarten rooms this year! She is excited to return to teaching full-time in the fall! Ms. Baranczyk has taught third grade at SJB for several years. She will bring a strong understanding of elementary literacy and mathematics to our kindergarten program!

After stepping in to cover a fifth-grade classroom this year, Ms. Buckett will return to her role as Supportive Consultant next year! Please also help us welcome Mrs. Wildenberg from Holy Cross as our new Reading Specialist. Mrs. Wildenberg has taught for 12 years as a 2nd-grade teacher and just completed her Reading Teacher Certification from UW-Stout.  She has also worked as a tutor at On the Mark Dyslexia Clinic for several years. She will leverage her combined experiences and be a great addition to our SJB staff.  Together, these two will support our students and teachers in elevating our student support programs overall!

As previously shared, Mrs. Oshefsky will be moving out of the area. We wish her and her family well as they take on exciting new opportunities in her husband’s career!  Ms. Lacy Geurts has accepted an offer for one of our 5th-grade positions. She will be graduating from SNC this spring and comes highly recommended from Notre Dame of De Pere Catholic School, where she did her student teaching. Ms. Jones, our current middle school ELA teacher, will join the elementary team as the other fifth-grade teacher! Thank you for your flexibility, Ms. Jones!
